Before you start the conference registration process, please read the information on this page carefully.

Registration for the conference and tutorials, and hotel reservation are handled together by a single registration process.

The deadline for early on-line registration is 20 September 2008. On-line registration after this date is also available, but with 50 Euros added.

For each accepted paper, one Full Rate Registration must be received by 15 August 2008. In case that multiple accepted papers have a same author, this author can register for up to three of these papers: one under full registration rate and each of the other two with an additional charge of 200 Euros. The organizers of the conference will check the registration status of each paper. If a paper is not linked to any Full Rate Registration in the above mentioned way after 15 August 2008, the paper will be withdrawn from the conference and not be included in the conference program nor the proceedings.

3. Accommodation / Hotel reservation

Hotel and guesthouse rooms have been reserved by Gestamottakan ehf. - Your Host in Iceland - for conference participants at a special conference rate. See further details on the website under accommodation.

All reservations are handled by Gestamóttakan. Possible changes of your hotel reservation must be made in writing to Gestamóttakan. Please do not contact the hotel directly.

A credit card number will be required to secure the reservation. One night's accommodation will be charged for "no shows". Payment for accommodation and excursions should be paid through Gestamottakan - Your Host in Iceland.

5. Form of payment

Registration payment for ISWCS´08 should be done either by credit card (VISA or MasterCard) or by bank transfer.

	Cancellation and refund policy: Cancellations must be done in writing. 50% of the registration fee will be refunded for cancellations received before 10 August 2008. After that only 25% will be refunded on cancellation made before 10 September 2008. All refunds will be processed after the meeting. In case of cancellation of specific items (i.e. accommodation, tours etc.) that have already been paid for, the amount will be refunded less a bank cost of ISK 1.500.
