Hotel rooms have been reserved by Gestamottakan ehf. - Your Host in Iceland - for conference participants at a special conference rate.

All reservations are handled by Gestamóttakan. Possible changes of your hotel reservation must be made in writing to Gestamóttakan. Please do not contact the hotel directly. See description of accommodation.

Please note that prices are subject to change due to currency fluctiations. Participants will be notified of any neccessary changes.
Registration payment for conference should be done either by credit card (VISA or MasterCard) or by bank transfer.
By credit card: After submitting registration a frame will be shown with secure payment gateway for credit card information where your card will be charged for the registration fee only, other charges will be made shortly before event.

All payments must be made before arrival at the conference.
Please refer to Nordicsociology 2012 and state the name(s) of the participants(s) clearly on all payments.
Bank and transfer charges are the responsibility of the payer.

Cancellation and refund policy:

Cancellations must be done in writing. 75% of the registration fee will be refunded for cancellations received before 15 June 2012. After 15 June no refund will be made.
In case of cancellation of specific items (i.e. accommodation, tours etc.) that have already been paid for, the amount will be refunded less an administration charge of EUR 35 and a one night’s accommodation.
All refunds will be processed after the meeting.
